Dream Valley Challenges #8 - Stamp Something

It's time for another challenge at http://www.dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.com/.  The challenge for the coming fortnight is to Stamp Something.  Pretty easy challenge this time around.  Break out your favorite stamp and show us what you can create with it.  Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  Here is my contribution to the design team.

The stamp is from Inkadinkado.  I adore this bicycle and it always makes me think of summertime.  Patterned papers are DCWV's Linen Closet.  The plaid looking background is glittered.  I created the flowers and spritzed them with Glimmer Mists for some more shimmers.  I filled in the centers with a pearl liquid.  The pearly butterfly is from Prima.

I would also like to enter this in the following challenges:

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge # 54 - Here Comes Summer
Fun With Shapes and More #84 - Everything Must Sparkle (glittered patterned paper, glimmer mist, pearls)
Phindy's Place Challenge #57 - Summer Living

Ooops, I almost forgot to mention the sponsors for the Dream Valley Challenge...

Papermaze is a small, family mail order business based on a farm in rural Suffolk.

I have been making cards for years, cross-stitched ones at first until a friend introduced me to rubber stamping. Paper has always been my passion and would be the first thing I looked for in craft shops in my continuing search for something different. This led me to discover scrapbooking, so now I'm hooked on that too!  The idea for the website was born after the birth of our third child, and a desire to do something different from teaching, that would enable me to work from home. After months of research, we went live in October 2003.  We pride ourselves on our fast and friendly service. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, suggestions or comments about our site.

You can win your self a wee £10 voucher for their amazing shop!

And secondly

We used to call bikes like this 'sit up and beg bikes' because you look a bit like a begging dog when riding one lol! It's a fabulous image, and I love the vintage tones you've used to stamp it. Great card!

luv, Mags x

hi Carrie, your image is so lovely, really old-fashioned and looks great the way you presented it. I can see why it makes you think of summer, it makes me think of carefree fun holidays too. CoB
