Happy New Year!

It feels like I have been gone forever!  It was a busy holiday season and I stepped away to devote all my time to my family!  We are back today with a new challenges at Dream Valley Challenges with our 1st challenge of the year.  This fortnight it's Anything Goes.  I haven't done a scrapbook page in what seems like ages so that's what I choose to do.

I just hate winter time and having to get a good picture inside.  I'm gonna have to break down and get some kind of lightbox I do believe.  I digress.  This is a school pic of my DD from 2 years ago.  I am working on her album so it's ready for graduation in a couple of years.  I used my Cricut for the lace background in lavendar and the word Beautiful.  There's some Prima flowers and bling.  I love the sparkle.  It shines like she does!

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you go link up a creation at Dream Valley Challenges because "Anything Goes"!  Have a great Sunday and can't wait to see all of your wonderful creations!

Hugs
Carrie

Fab page to show off your daughter's picture. I've always meant to start scrapbooking but not got round to it yet. xx

Fab LO, and that's such a gorgeous pic of your DD - I love how you mirrored the colours in her pretty dress with your papers and embellies.

Very beautiful! Let me know what you end up doing about a lightbox, I'm having the same problem.

Before you get a light box, try this trick: get a piece of cardboard, the bigger the better, and cover it in aluminum foil. Set up your project and use the tin foil board to bounce light to your project :) Living in NH where winter drags on and it rains often every other season, I had to figure out a way without a light box...more money saved for paper HA!

Love your page so very much...especially that gorgeous trim! LOVE!

Carrie I am so with you on the SAD thing. I hate the Winter too, thank heavens we are finally on the back end of the long nights and short days, only a couple of months to go and it will seem normal again.

Just adore your page LO. You can clearly see the love you feel for your gorgeous Daughter in this fabulous page.

Happy New Year
