I have been talking for a while now about moving my scrapbooking/crafting room into my son's bedroom that is much larger. He's in college and only home for holidays and maybe every other month for a weekend visit. Well, I finally did it. I moved him to a slightly smaller room that I had been using as a spare room for when my 4yo nephew comes to visit. My nephew got moved to my old scrapbook room. Needless to say I've been busy rotating furniture. Last weekend I got a new tv and mount that DH put up for me. I'm getting close and it feels good to be able to sit down and craft. Tomorrow I move the paper rack and that's about it til DH builds me some shelves in the closet. Enough of my ramblings on to the rest of the post.
It's time for a new challenge at
Dream Valley Challenges. I hope you all had fun last week with the Anything Goes Challenges! This time around the challenge is Animals. The prize this week will be a "suprise" from our founder Melly. I have no doubt it will be wonderful. I decided to combine my animal with Valentine's Day. No stamping this time. I have my cricut setup again after the move so I put it to work.
I used my gypsy to weld the background and create a shape card. I used my white gel pen to jazz him up just a bit. I think my little nephew will like this one. I thought he turned out pretty cute.
I'd also like to enter this in the following challenges:
Whimsical Design - Anything Goes
Send a Smile 4 Kids - Anything Goes
Phindys Place - Shape Cards
Craft Us Crazy - Valentine's Day and Animal
Now off with you to get crafting. Can't wait to see all your wonderful Animal creations at
DVC. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs
Carrie
