Lucky Charm Blog Hop

Welcome to my Blog and the Lucky Charm Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Sue, you're in the right place. If you were just looking at my blog and want to play along with our blog hopping fun, you can start at the beginning at Giselle's blog. This blog hop is all about creating something for the lucky charm in your life.  I chose to make a layout featuring my Lucky Charms!

I know.  I know.  This is probably a picture that only a mother can love and everyone else can get a chuckle out of.  It's hilarious and I was so thrilled that the photographer was able to capture them having such fun.  While both of my kids can be dorky, finding them doing it together and getting along is a rare event!  I love these guys!

Ok, enough teasing.  Here is the entire layout.  I am thrilled with how this turned out and I sure hope you enjoy it too.

Patterned Paper is K& Co
Cardstock is miscellaneous
Cricut Carts used were A Child's Year (font and clovers) and Storybook (bubble for title)
EK Success border punch
The flower I have had forever.  I don't remember who made them.  Sorry!
Prima Pearls
I used a gold metallic pen to highlight the clovers, letters and edge of the cream portion of the bubble for the title.

Now for the fun stuff!!  I have blog candy to give away to one of you lucky hoppers!!  I am giving away the Cricut Cartridge "Four Legged Friends".  I forgot to take a picture but it is new and still in the clamshell.  To be eligible for the drawing leave a comment including a way I can contact you and become a follower.  I'll use random drawing next week to choose a winner.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Thank you for visiting my blog and a big thank you to Giselle and Nadia for letting me be a part of this hop!!. Your next stop is Patricia. Below is a list of all blog participants in case you get lost:

Dream Valley Challenges #2 - New Beginnings

The challenge at Dream Valley Challenges this fortnight is "New Beginnings".  I chose to make an easel wedding card using my Cricut.  It measures 5.5" square.  The white base cardstock and the shimmery turquoise were both  from my stash.  I used DCWV glitter paper to cut out "Happily Ever After".

Corner punch is an older EK Success.   Butterflies are Martha Stewart punch.  The paper used for the butterflies is by SEI but not sure the name of the line.  It is white with metallic turquoise lines and flowers going thru it.  I punched where I could get some of the turquoise running thru it.  I added lots of rhinestones to the butterflies bodies for some more bling.  Ribbons are miscellaneous scraps.

Inside is more of the same paper.  I used a Martha Stewart edge punch and added a couple more butterflies.  The sentiment is from a stamp set I picked up at Hobby Lobby on clearance.  Its from My Sentiments Exactly.

Start working on your "New Beginnings" creation.  You have 2 weeks to get it linked.  Be sure to check out my fellow DT's creations, lots of inspiration there for everyone!

This cards also fits the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge #144.
