This is my 1st color challange and my 1st Just Us Girls challenge.  I thought this color combo was a tough one.  I really had to think about this one.  I must say that I do like how it turned out.  PP is from an American Crafts paper pack.  For some reason I just couldn't get a good picture tonight.  I don't have SU Razzleberry so I just picked out a cardstock that I thought looked raspberry colored which is layered between the coral PP and CS.  Images were stamped with Chocolate Chip.  Thanks for stopping by to look and as always comments are welcomed.

My first Mojo Monday challenge.  It was a lot of fun.  I've never followed a card making sketch before but it sure speeds up the creative process.  I'll be doing this all the time.  PP are My Minds Eye, Ribbon is American Crafts and Basic Grey.  Thanks for taking a look and as always appreciate your comments.

Just Buggin Challenge

Finally was able to get back in my craft room!  I so needed this.  This challenge to create a black and white card.  I used my gypsy to create the little swirly tag, I guess that's what you could call it.  I thought it was cute so I went ahead and cut 2.  These cards are basically the same and I did use a little silver for one of my mat layers.  Carts used were George and Home Decor.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look and sorryifor the off colors in the photos.  I just couldn't seem to get a good photo. 

Just Buggin Challenge #24

A couple of weeks ago I won a give away over at Above Rubies Studio that I put to use with this challenge. I received 6 bottles of Viva Decor products (3-pearl and 3 glass effects). I used the Sweet Treats cart that I got this weekend and my dd picked out the parfait or sundae bag for this challenge. I used the red glass effects on the cherry. This was a suprisingly thick product almost like the tubes of gel frosting for cake decorating. It was a little difficult to get a smooth finish.  I will definitely need more practice (maybe a paintbrush would help.  I wasn't sure how it would cover so I used red cardstock to cut out the cherry. I used all 3 different colors of pearl pen on the sprinkles. The yellow/gold is especially vibrant and pearly. For the last little bit of bling we used glittered cardstock for one of the scopes of ice cream. This was my first cut with cart and I love this cart. So glad I bought this one and huge thank you to Megan at Above Rubies Studio.  O and I still have to add a handle.  I didn't have ribbon that matched very well.  I'll work on a paper handle tomorrow when I have a little more time.  I love a day off work when the kids and husband will all be gone.  Some quiet time for me to get some real work done in my craft room.

Cricut Valentine's

I love it when I accidently make a card that works for 2 challenges.  I originally made this for the Just Buggin challenge #23.  It also works for the BBTB2 Wild Card Heart Card challenge.  I made 2 very similar (only difference is the flowers and the paper used for the envelopes) to send to my sisters for Valentine's Day.  The base is a shimmery cardstock and all of the PP is from a stack I have had forever and just haven't used much of.  I used glitter brads by Bo Bunny and a glitter pen on the sentiment.  I also created matching envelopes.  Cartridge used was Wild Card.

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #99

Back and way to go Saints on their Superbowl win tonight.  Ok next up is my take on TESC #99.  PP is Scenic Route and Bo Bunny.

It's hard to tell in this picture but the red cardstock really does match the heart PP.  For some reason the PP doesn't show the red very well.  Thanks for stopping by.

Mercy's Tues Challenge (MTSC 59)

I know I said I would have all these up yesterday but somehow I never made it to my craft room til today.  So here is my 1st challenge entry for Mercy's (MTSC59).  It's a little hard to tell but the square with the hearts stamps has some shimmer.  I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist.  PP is Scenic Route.  I have yet to master the sewing machine on paper, so I pierced and stitched this one by hand.

 

I have 2 more challenges that I will upload my take on when I get back tonight.  Head to the neighbors for food and football.

Friday night and going to head off to my craft room to do a little creating.  I'll have more new cards for you to see tomorrow and Sunday so be sure to come back and take a look.  In the meantime here are few miscellaneous that I haven't posted yet.

 

Above I embossed cardstock with Swiss Dots CB embossing folder.  Owl image is stamped but don't remember the manufacturer at the moment.  If you are interested let me know and I can find out.

 

PP was from an 8x8 some gave me a long time ago.  The butterfly is cut and embossed with a CB die and embossing folder set.  Ribbon is just a scrap I was using up.

 

Image I believe is a SU stamp but again don't recall the name of it.  I'd be glad to find out if you are interested.  PP on the upper half of the card is Basic Grey.  PP paper on the bottom half is unknown as is the leftover ribbon

Loads of love

Just a quick little card tonight. I used SU Loads of Love set, Basic Grey PP for the background and the load of hearts, not sure who the ribbon and CS are. Used a glitter pen on the hearts just for a little bit of sparkle. I also used copic markers to color image. I am very new to Copic's so still learning and really need to expand my collection just a bit. Let me know what you think good or bad. I am always game to learn what I could be doing better.
